NOVATE MEZZOLA - COEDER - VALLE DEI BAGNI

34 km + 3674 mts ︎ + 3674 mts ↘︎

Located in the heart of the Italian Alps, Val Codera is a valley outside of time. Close to the majestic Lake Como and Switzerland, there is however no road access to the valley, making it a wild place that can only be reached on foot and by helicopter.

To this day, the historical legacy left by the first scouts who discovered the valley during the Fascist era can still be observed. Every year, scouts from all over Italy come to live an experience that will mark them for life.

The trek begins at Novate Mezzola, where the mountains seem to reach for the sky. We will cross the valley through rivers, fields of crops, forests, steep walls, imposing canyons and divine mountains. Along the itinerary we will find some villages such as Codera, the capital where you can still find inhabitants who still preserve the essence of the place, Bresciadega or Coeder, where the "rifugio Brasca" of the Italian Alpine Club is located, ideal to enjoy the local gastronomy.

Every day begins with a new adventure. You will learn survival techniques applied in the mountains: how to make water drinkable, where to sleep, which plants are edible, medicinal... You will also enjoy night sky observation and yoga workshops in an exceptional alpine setting.

Join us on this incredible 4-day hike in the Italian Alps and live a unique experience, led by a professional mountain leader!
